Over the past year, the Singaporean artist known as “Niceaunties” has developed a brilliant series of AI artworks, captivating an imaginary world she calls “the Auntieverse.” This series, comprising around 1000 works, delves into themes of culture, tradition, personal freedom, and surreal humor.

In January 2023, Niceaunties began her AI art journey with a subscription to Midjourney. She initially started posting on Instagram and gradually mastered the capabilities of Midjourney, DALL·E, and Runway.

In less than a year, Niceaunties’ work gained recognition from various publications, including features in Forbes, WomenAIartists, and neoque. Her innovative style and distinctive narrative have attracted a global audience.

With AI, Niceaunties has crafted a surreal domain where the weird funny aunties thrive uninhibited and unjudged, critiquing societal expectations placed on women and illuminating the charming, bizarre, and sometimes unfavorable behaviors encountered.
