The version of me that’s still alive in ten years
will look back at this exact moment –
even the lost, even the pain –
and beg me not to waste it.
When you’re drowning, you don’t dream of yachts.
You dream of the breath you took before the water.
That breath? You’re in it now.
Don’t try to love the moment.
Just don’t run from it.
