Hi everyone,
Many of you already know me, but for those who don’t, here’s a bit about my journey with multiple sclerosis.
I was diagnosed 21 years ago, when i was 30.
over the years, i’ve met people with ms from all over the world, at different stages of the disease. i’ve lived in israel, moved to sydney, spent a few years in switzerland, and finally settled in portugal. along the way, i’ve explored a lot—traditional medicine, alternative therapies, and numerous treatments. i’ve worked with neurologists from around the globe, tried many ms medications for long stretches of time, and even participated in experimental medicine, including two types of stem cell transplants.

i also tested several well-known ms diets, sticking with each one long enough to give it a fair shot. i stayed attentive to my body and mind, observing my situation closely. i never ignored it.

looking back, my deterioration has been slow and steady. my lesions have always been on my spinal cord, with one big lesion present from the start. doctors warned me early on that i’d lose my hands and legs quickly because of the size of the damage. and while they were right—i’ve lost a lot of function—i still manage to do a lot. i also believe i’ve managed to slow it down.

also important, i pulled myself out of the hell i found myself in a few years ago. these are the things that have worked for me to slow the deterioration and keep me out of that dark place:
1. swimming
2. breathwork
3. the gym
4. getting outside and moving forward
5. learning from the wisdom of great thinkers
6. sleeping well
7. taking breaks from smoking weed
8. perseverance—never giving up
9. cold water therapy
10. breaking routines periodically

the ms is still progressing, but i believe i’ve managed to slow it down. the path forward is clear: take care of your body, train your mind, and keep moving.

If there’s anything you’ve ever wanted to ask – about my experiences, challenges, or insights – feel free to ask me anything. Let’s have an open and honest conversation 🙂
