I figure that my fear of judgment is all about…

personal FB posts

I figure that my fear of judgment is all about how I vibe with myself. It’s not really about what you say – it’s about the doubts I already carry. When someone points at the stuff I’m insecure about, it feels like they’re echoing the whispers in my own head. It cuts deep because it’s like they confirmed my inner fears. It amplifies what I suspect to be true about myself but secretly hope isn’t. The judgment is painful because it shines a light on the cracks in my self-image.

But where we’re solid? Areas where we feel self-assured – we don’t care to hear the judgment; we don’t give a 💩. We’ve already decided our worth there.
