It feels like being dropped.
Not pushed, not guided – dropped.
And no amount of practice softens the landing.

You think you are prepared.
You’re not.

What you can do –
is stop pretending you’ll handle it nicely.
Stop wasting time bargaining with the past.

Get up. Get out.
Even if you are limping. Or rolling.
Even if you’re not sure who you are yet.

That’s all there is.
