Restaurants are more than places to eat – they’re spaces…

Restaurants are more than places to eat – they’re spaces where I connect with friends and family. But each time I enter, I face the challenge of finding the right seat. I carefully scan the layout, evaluate how easy it is to navigate, and if the space feels too crowded, it adds to the panic.

Chairs against the wall are my go-to. They’re stable and won’t tip backward, which eases my worry of falling. I sit with support – holding onto something steady or a friend’s hand
Booths with cushioned backs are a luxury; they let me lean back comfortably, easing some of the strain that builds up with prolonged sitting.

High stools are out of the question, as lifting both legs to the foot support is too difficult. Hard wooden chairs are only tolerable for a quick bite, like grabbing a slice of pizza. Otherwise, they amplify muscle tension, turning a simple meal into an endurance test.

Despite all these hurdles, it’s often worth it
