For those of us living with chronic illness, what we consume shapes how we feel, and it matters even more. The stories and messages we take in set the tone for how we respond to our challenges.

If you’re constantly absorbing negative stories: worst-case scenarios in groups, overwhelming medical news, or dismissive comments, it’s like pouring poison into your mind. The information that we consume sets the context of our subconscious.
